About MFA Tools

MFA Tools is an independent resource website with one simple mission: help you discover useful tools, software guides, design resources, AI tools, and practical tutorials in one place β€” explained in plain English.

Our mission

The internet is full of software β€” and full of confusing, outdated, or misleading information about it. MFA Tools exists to fix that. Our mission is to be the one place where you can quickly find useful tools, honest software guides, design resources, AI tools, and practical tutorials, without wading through marketing fluff or clickbait.

We focus on the questions people actually ask: Is this tool really free? What does the paid plan add? Who is eligible for the education discount? Is this invite link safe? Every article is written to answer a real question directly, then point you to the official source to verify the details.

What we do

MFA Tools publishes practical, reader-first content across a few focused categories:

We are a small, independent publication. We do not sell software, we do not run accounts on your behalf, and we never ask for your passwords or account credentials.

Everything we publish is free to read. There are no paywalls, no "premium" articles, and no email gates on guides. When a page contains an affiliate link, that relationship is disclosed openly β€” it never changes what we recommend.

How we research

Every guide starts with the official source: the product's own website, pricing page, help center, and terms. We test free tiers and sign-up flows ourselves where possible, note the date we last checked each claim, and show that date on the page. When pricing or eligibility rules change, we update the article and re-stamp the verification date.

We also test what we can ourselves: sign-up flows, free-tier limits, invite systems, and education verification steps are walked through with real test accounts so our screenshots and step-by-step instructions reflect what you will actually see β€” not what a marketing page promises. Where we cannot test something (for example, a region-specific offer), we say so explicitly rather than guessing.

You can read the full methodology β€” including how we label tools as free, free trial, freemium, or paid, and how corrections work β€” in our Editorial Policy.

Our editorial team

MFA Tools is written and maintained by a small editorial team. Each contributor owns a focus area so the same people re-verify the same topics over time:

Jordan Meyer

Role: Lead Editor, MFA Tools Editorial Team

Focus: Editorial standards, fact-checking, and keeping every guide aligned with official sources and our verification cadence.

Priya Nair

Role: Design Tools Writer

Focus: Canva, Adobe Express, and other design platforms β€” plans, features, education eligibility, and free alternatives.

Daniel Okafor

Role: AI & Productivity Writer

Focus: AI tools, note-taking and task apps, and practical workflows for students and small teams.

Our independence

MFA Tools is an independent resource website. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Canva, Adobe, Microsoft, Google, or any other third-party brand mentioned on this site. All product names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners, and we use them only to identify the products we write about.

No company can pay for a better ranking, a nicer review, or a "free" label it has not earned. Some outbound links may be affiliate links, which never change our conclusions β€” see our Affiliate Disclosure and Disclaimer for the full details.

Why readers trust us

Trust is earned by being boringly consistent: cite official sources, show verification dates, admit uncertainty, fix mistakes fast, and never let money decide rankings. That is the standard we hold every page on this site to, and it is the standard you should hold us to as well. If we ever fall short of it, the fastest way to put us right is a message through the contact page below.
